Lucy is our lovely girl who has come all the way from Norway! Lucy was bred by Monica Breivik of Vegamo Bernese, from the island of 'Vega] and was brought into Australia by Maxcine Dixon. Unfortunately Maxcine due to life circumstances could not keep Lucy and hence she came to live with us as a part of our family in 2009.
Lucy is a large girl who has matured into a very substantial, well boned, broad bitch. Lucy is moderate in angulation both front and rear and well-balanced. She has a good topline and is a very sound bitch throughout, both in body and mind. She has lovely free-flowing movement with great reach and drive and is super clean coming & going. She possesses a lot of qualities we need in our Kennel and is a welcome addition! Her temperament is amazing...always willing to please and such a happy girl to greet visitors to Malicloy...
Lucy was awarded Best of Breed at Adelaide Royal Show in 2010 (with over 30 Bernese) and gained her Championship title with ease. Lucy has won her class at Specialty Shows and other Royal Shows. She is such an honest bitch and we are thrilled with how Lucy has matured...
Lucy has had one litter here at Malicloy and produced our boy "Derek" with sire Angus, along with two other pups, "Daisy" and "Bosco," now 2 years old. They have all been gifted with her typically sweet Berner temperament, soundness, great work ethic and gorgeous movement...
