Hayley at 2 years
Hayley came to us in late 2005 and went home to Lyn Brand in late 2009, where she resides currently.
Hayley is the ultimate show dog...such a great performer! She absolutely loved being in the ring and her tail NEVER stopped wagging!! Her show wins are a testiment to this. She has won several Best in Groups (1st) and was awarded Reserve Bitch Challenge at two Bernese National Specialties. Hayley was the Best of Breed winner at the 2007 Adelaide Royal Show, Reserve Bitch winner
in 2006 and again, Best of Breed in 2008.
But Hayley's most acclaimed win here at Malicloy was when she was awarded her first Championship Best in Show in 2006 at just 2 years of age!! We were so proud of her!
We owe a great deal of thanks to Lyn Brand from Branbern Kennels for entrusting to us this girl to campaign and breed with. Hayley's sire Grand Ch. Branbern Abbeys Echo ('Derby') is a multi Best in Show winner at both All breeds and Specialty shows and her dam is Branbern Dime N Chime ('Ziggy').
Hayley produced Malicloy's first litter to "Angus" ...3 lovely girls, including our beloved "Pingu."
Hayley is still owned by Lyn Brand and has since returned to her, to further the breeding program at Branbern Bernese.
Whilst Hayley can be the noisiest jumping dog ever, she has the sweetest, most loveable nature! ...One we will never forget here at Malicloy!
